Welcome to the website of Kilkenny City Harriers Athletics Club. Founded in 1953, the 'Harriers' is one of the longest established athletics clubs in Ireland with a proud history and tradition of achievement and participation.

TRAINING - ONE SEASON OVER, ANOTHER BEGINS -   

UPDATE ON KCH – TRAINING – SEPT 2015 

NB: Due to uncertainty of ScanlonPark athletic track being available training times and venues may change. So be attentive.

 

JUVENILES –  ALL juveniles have training in THE CASTLE PARK on Saturday mornings from 11.00am to Noon, starting on Saturday 5th Sept.

           

IN ADDITION 

UNDER 8’S, 9’S AND 10’S  - train Indoors in Watershed 6.30 -7.30pm on Tuesdays starting on 1st September.

 UNDER 11’S – train on athletic track 6.30-7.30pm on Tues 1st Sept and Thurs 3rd Sept. Note: time and venue may change for subsequent weeks. 

UNDER 12’S, 13’S AND 14’S – train on athletic track on Tues 1st Sept and Thurs 3rd Sept from 7.15 – 8.30pm. Note: time and venue may change for subsequent weeks. 

UNDER 15’S AND OLDER MIDDLE DISTANCE – train in Castle Park from 6.00 – 7.00pm on Tuesday and Thursday evenings. 

ALL OTHER UNDER 15’S AND OLDER – train on the athletic track on Tuesday, 1st Sept and Thursday 3rd Sept from 7.15 – 8.30pm 

FIT4LIFE – train on Mondays and Thursdays from 6.30 -7.30pm in James’s Park, Freshford Road, starting on Thursday 3rd September.

Juniors, Seniors and Vets Meet at Watershed every Wednesday in August at 8.00pm. The LONG RUN is back again in The Castle Park on Sunday mornings at 9.30am (Meet at the bench in the upper field). See "training page" for details.

ENTRIES - Entries for Leinster and National Events should be with May Hutt, Competition Secretary, well in advance of competition dates.

KILKENNY PARKRUN  - Register with KILKENNY PARKRUN and join the action in The Castle Park every Saturday morning at 9.30am for a 5K workout- It's free, You get your time, you make friends, you can do it in Dublin, Belfast, Central Park, New York etc. Just do it, Its for everyone.!!
 

HELP
: More Volunteers needed - especially for ONE HOUR on Tuesday nights- no experience required. Coach training will be provided if needed. Contact any club coach or committee member. Volunteer when dropping off/collecting your child.
