Our scholarship athletes returned to the Indoors this weekend. Peter Lynch, representing Tulsa University, was competing at the Gorilla Classic in Iowa while Aoife Richardson, University of San Francisco, competed in the Husky Classic in Seattle. Peter ran much of his 5K atthe back and only moved through the field with some 600m to go. Finishing in 14.09.04 he showed a 26 second improvement on this event in 2019. The story was equally impressive for Aoibhe as she finished 7th in 15.52 some 25 seconds ahead of her previous PB of 16.17 – so a Valentine’s Day to remember.
