Sept 15/16 Much Action on the Roads

There was a glut of races on the local roads over the weekend. Saturday brought us The Medieval Marathon - inclusive of 5K, 10K, 30K half and full. Then on Sunday wehadthe JJ Reddy - again with 5K, 10K, half and full. All times and places available on myrunresults and total timing respectively.

Sept 16 Short Course in Castle Park

The much delayed Short Course CC found a new venue in the Castle Park today. The senior races were preceeded by juvenile races. Darragh O'Callaghan and Darragh Browne were first and third respectively in the under 7 race. Robert Cullen won bronze in the boys under 9 where Patrick Wall was an unlucky participant to get tripped up on entering the finishing chute.  Our under 13 relay teams performed well with the girls coming second and the boys taking first and second. Sept 15 Peter Cruising on US Trail

Peter Lynch started his cross-country campaign for Tulsa Hurricanes with a meet in Joplin, Missouri today. And what a start he made - cruising through the field of runners he place third and led the Hurricanes to victroy while clocking 24.56.2 for the 8Km race.

Sept 01 Hayes Tops in Moone

Thomas Hayes was the top performer at todays 10K road race in Moone. Not only did he win the event but he set a new time record of 31.03 for the event. Conrats. Congratulations also to our under 14 girls on today receiving the KCLR/David Buggy SportsStar Award for July.
