Once again our athletes were busy over the weekend. SANTRY this year's national seniors were held in Santry over three days because of the covid. Our ahtletes performed well with pride of place going to Cliodhna Manning. Proving that she has overcome her long standing injury she ran 55.73 in her 400m heat to qualify comfortably for the final. She gave Phil Healy a run for her money in the final with an improved time of 53.18 to win the silver. Eoin Everard ran the 1500 and qualified for the final with 3.56.30. Gold was very much the order of the day for our athletes at Day 2 of the county championships in Scanlon Park today. The 5000m proved a happy hunting ground for our adults. Claire Dermody and Cathal O'Reilly won their respective senior events and Kate Millea and Graham Bourne had similar success in the masters. Jacinta Mulroe and Eileen Morgan won silver in senior and masters respectively.  Kate Millea added a further gold with victory in the Masters 200m. Ciara Deely continued her development as an 800m runner with a fine performance in the national U23 this morning. Clocking 2.14.29 she finished in second place to clam the silver medal.  

Twas a busy weekend. DUBLIN - A number of our athletes competed in theAAI Games. Eoin Deely ran in the 800m on Saturday (2.06.07). Jack Manning had a PB of 21.98 when he finished second in his 200m on Saturday and then had 49.44 forthe 400m on Sunday. Cliodhna Manning showed she was back "on track" with a PB when she finished first in the 400m on Sunday in a PB time of 53.07. Also o0n Sunday Tom Lodge ran the 1500m in 4.10.76.
