On Friday night United Striders held their 5k Stride on the New Ross Greennway meeting with the approval of the participants. KCH had six men completing the race – 4 Callum Barron 15.20, 15 Dean Rowe 16.26, 17 Padraig Ruane 16.45, 21 Paddy Walsh 16.51, 41 John Murphy 17.57, 99 Brian Keane 21.26. A good team effort resulting in the KCH team winning the Seamus Burke Memorial Trophy.
Anne Marie Shortall did the Kinsale half marathon finishing in 1.48.46.
