What a fantastic event! There were so many outstanding performances in track and field. And the Irish athletes kept us on our toes right up to the end – from Fionnula MxcCormack on day 2 to Silver medallist Kate O’Connor on the final day. Our two athletes – Peter Lynch in the Men’s Marathon and Cliodhna Manning running the second leg of the 4×400 women’s relay – gave 100%. Thanks to our coaches, sponsors and most importantly the family supports.
