The Mid-West Regional cross-country 10k men’s championhsips were held in Iowa today. The Tulsa University team, backboned by four Irish, placed third enabling qualification for the National finals in Tallahassee, Florida on the 20th Nov. The team made its presence felt from the start and were comfortable through in third place. KCH duo Peter Lynch and Shay McEvoy were very much involved in securing the place in the final with Peter coming 13th and Shay finishing 21st. The other two Irish were Cathal Dalton, Mullingar and Michael Power, Waterford.
