It was ideal running weather for today’s Stook as young and old gathered in Dungarvan for this year’s Stook. The 10 mile attracked the greater number with Clonmel AC winning the team event from KCH in second place. Claire Dermody (fourth lady overall) finishing in 1.10.48 was county Kilkenny champion and also first O/40. Cathy Millett was first O/55 in 1.14.13 and Angela Lalor was third O/55. Alan Mahon in 1.06.57 was first O/45. Paul Earley also had a first O/60 clocking 1.25.31. Other finishers were Paul Phelan, Andy Hanrahan, Eddie Hawe, Sean O’hArgain, Andrew Smith, Martina McGrath and Hilda Comerford. Martin Dowling completed the 10K in 59.53 and Bridget Rochford did it in 1.03.05.
