A real summer day greeted us in Ballycurran today. The St Joseph’s club were well prepared with car parking , shop and course. KCH had a good first day out with six teams bringing homemedals in the juvenile ranks and four sets in the senior. Scoring juvenile teams were Boys and girls under 10 – both winning gold; boys and girls under 12 – both won silver; Girls under 14 were 4th and the boys had Kyrell Mtinsi taking individual gold; girls U16 and boys under 18 also won team gold. Further individual gold medalswere won by Julia Daly U10, Christina Capitian Martin U16, Alexia Albertin GU18 and Billy Coogan BU18. KCH have a slight lead ahead of round 2 in Castlecomer next Sunday. Getting everyone out could men winning the shield!!
