A number, particularly of our younger athletes, made it to the Open track and field in both St Senan’s on the 10th in Kilkacow and Ferrybank on the 16th in Waterford. Among those winning individual medals were the following:- Cian McIntyre U8, Daniel McIntyre U10, Kate Kelly, Ellen Ryan, Julia Daly U11, Amelia O’Brien, Emma Kelly, Fiach Crowley, Daire O’Flaherty, Daithi Egan U13, Kate Maher U15 and Donnacha Maher U16. Four sets of relay medals were won in Kilmacow – Boys U10, Girls and Boys U12 and Boys U14. The Under 10 boys excelled to win bronze in the U11 Relay at the Ferrybank event. Well done all. Great preparation for the county championships.
