Congratulations to all the athletes who took part in the Leinster Schools cross country in the Phoenix Park today. Six teams from the city schools came home with team medals. Two sets for Presentation – 1st Junior girls, 3rd Inter Girls; Loreto two sets – 2nd Minor Gilrs, 3rd Senior Girls; CBS – Senior Boys; St Kieran’s – 3rd Junior Boys. These were secured with the fine running by the athletes from the various schools. Among the high achievers were the following – Amelia O’Brien, Katie Byrne, Sinead Cormack, Kyrell Mtinsi, Robert Coogan, Pia Langton, Ruair McEvoy, Billy Coogan.
