Day 3 and what a day it was – n more ways than one! The rain bucketed down which didn’t auger well for a good day on the track but as it progressed the good results kept coming. The under 14s set the pace with both girls qualifying for the 200m final. It was a similar story, on the double, with both the 200m couple and the 250m hurdlers making the final. It was a somewhat similar story with our under 16s.
And it wasn’t just qualifying for finals it was winning medals also. Nine All-Irelands were won on the day – four gold, three silver and two bronze.
All in all a proud day on the track for KCH.
