The Cellbridge 5K on 22nd brought four from KCH with all four experiencing good runs – Paul Bolger and Mike Cullen both had PBs – 17.20 and 17.44 respectively; Padraig Ruane finished in 17.23 and Grainne Behan did well completing the run in 19.48.
The Boston Scientific half marathon was held on 24th in Clonmel where another quartet were in action. Paudie McCarthy 1.21.36, Michael Grogan 1.37.11, Geraldine Grogan 1.48.39 and Jan Hazenberg 1.50.09.
Club members were involved in three venues on Sunday 25th. Ger Forde was third runner for Ireland in the Antrim Coast half marathon finishing in 1.07.13.
Callum Barron running the Oylegate 10K took gold in 33.29.
The youthful Paddy Kelly won silver in the South Kilkenny 1oK crossing the line in 36.51. Others finishing the run were 5th Pat Purcell (40.21), 9th Conor D’Arcy 43.23 and Declan Bryan (1.09.08).
