Competitionwise this was a relatively quiet weekend. Just one on the Indoor Track – Alex Cullen guesting at the National League finished second in his heat with a PB of 22.01 for the 200m.
Three runners were out in the open air. Katie Mullan took on the Sli Chorcai Ultra 65 Kms which has an elevation of 1963m. Her stamina brought her home in 10hrs 26ms.
Nearer home two went in the Graiguenamanagh Rolling hills. Gretta Beckett was 4th female in the 5K (25.35) while James Murphy did the 10K in 42.42.
