Ellen Daly made a fine entrance to the senior ranks when competing in the National Senior Indoors in Abbottstown. Taking part in the 200m she clocked an excellent time of 25.70. Her older and more experienced sister, Molly, also had excellent results winning silver in the 200m final in 24.07. Pia Langton also made the podium. Making the 800m final she ran it in 2.09.19 to win bronze.
In the longer races Cathal O’Reilly placed 10th in the 1500m final in 3.52.58. In the 3000m Ruairi McEvoy clocked 8.48.84 while Will Fox finished in 8.56.59.
