Today was a good day for our (somewhat older) athletes at the Leinster Masters cross country in Gowran. Niamh Richardson continues to show her class to take first place in the over 50s race. Cathy Millett proved to be another class act to clinch the silver in the smae category. Both ladies claimed gold by being the first two scorers on the winning county team.    The other (somewhat younger) masters had a mighty run in the over 35+ with Donna Dowling, Caitriona Muldowney and Barbara Rossiter  to bring the team into 6th place in the inter club race. Their scores in their respective categories were Donna 5th, Caitriona 7th and Barbara 15th.

The men were also in good running form. Paul Moran was back to good form finishing 9th O/40. Ken Maher was 12th O/40 and Graham Bourne, new to cross country, 23rd O/40. Trust Mtinsi was 17th O/35. In the inter club category the team placed 7th. Paul, Trust and Ken scored on the County team which finished in fifth place.
