KCH had nine athletes competing in the Open Indoor today. For most of them this was their first time in this type of competition and all nine can be proud of their achievements today.
Molly Daly won her 200m heat in 24.07 to finish 2nd overall. Her sister Ellen won her 60m heat in 8.02. Aisling Phelan also won her 60m heat in 7.98. Charlie Lyons had an excellent time of 7.44 in his 60m.
Three athletes went in the 400m – Alex Cullen with 48.78 was third overall while Patrick Wall and Eoghan O’Farrell had times of 53.68 and 55.87 respectively.
Running the 3000 were Ruairi McEvoy and Callum Barron. Ruairi Finished 8th with 8.41.89 while Callum placed 9th in 8.45.20.
