Shay McEvoy has joined an exclusive club – The Sub 4 Minute Milers. Representing his college, Tulsa Oklahoma, at the Arkansas Invitational he placed third in the final of the mile. But it is the time he achieved which makes the big news. Clocking 3.58.48 he becomes the third Kilkenny City Harriers and third person form Co Kilkenny to run a sub 4-minute mile joining Eoin Everard and Cathal O’Reilly in that exclusive club.
Also with a new PB is Meabh Richardson. Meabh was competing at the indoor 3000m in Seattle. She placed 15th in a new PB of 9.22.77.
