It was a relative busy weekend for our two men in Tulsa University. Both Shay McEvoy and Peter Lynch were in action on both days at the Washburn Indoor track and field in Topeka, Kansas. On Friday evening the ran the Distance Medley Relay. Shay ran the first leg (1200m) and Peter ran the anchor leg(1600m). The Tulsa team took first place in 9.52.30. They then ran the 3000m on Saturday afternoon. With college team-mates Michael Power and Scott Beatie acting as pacemakers a fast pace was set. And fast it was. It was Shay who crossed the line in first place in 8.00.39 and Peter a close second in 8.00.87. They did themselves proud. They did the team proud and KCH are proud of their achievements.
