Six PAIRS had qualified from the Leinsters and all six were in action in Tullamore for the Nationals today and did very well with most of the athletes competing in their first All-Ireland final. Under 9s – Aed Norry and Harry Healy competed in Turbo Javelin scoring 20.55m. Under 10s had two pairs – Charlie Norris and Daniel Quinn in Long jump -6.80m and Daniel McIntyre and Cillian Maher in 500m -3.32.11. Under 11s had three – Theo Cooney and Caelan Bambrick in Turbo Javelin 24.87m; Caelan Bambrick and Cathal Comerford in 60m sprint -19.52; and Julia Daly and Kate Kelly in 600m. Achieving a combined time of 3.15.34 the won BRONZE medals. Well done all.
