Our U12s &U13s were in action in Tullamore today in the All-Ireland finals. Both groups did well. In action for the U12s were Aoibhinn Kelly 4th in 60m with a PB of 9.00 minutes. Vivienne Lepeskaite also ran well in the 60m clocking 9.62. Conor Knox had Shot and Turbo Javelin. Throwing well he won bronze in the Shot (9.64) and placed 5th in Turbo (25.11).
The U13s had four competing in the individuals events. Alicja Slawinska cleared 3.98 in the Long jump; Mollie Rose Keegan was sixth in the 80m (11.39); Killian Croke was 8th in the 600m (1.46.03); Jasmine Timmons McEneaney won silver in the 80m with her best time being 11.07.
Relays: – A top quality performance by the under 13 girls saw them romp to victory and collect All- Ireland GOLD. Team members were Emma Kelly, Ella Sorohan, Mollie Rose Keegan, Jasmine Timmons McEnenaey, Amelia O’Brien and Alicja Slawinska. The results for the other teams were as follows :- 4th Girls U11 (Ella O’Flaherty, Julia Daly, Katie Kelly, Ellen Ryan). 8th Boys U11 (Cathal Comerford, Eoin Hoyme, Caelan Bambrick and Simon Brennan). 16th Girls U12 (Aoibhinn Lacey, Aoibhinn Kelly, Vivienne Lepeskaite, Ellie O’Shea). 8th U13 Boys (Killian Croke, Daithi Egan, Fiach Crowley, Daire O’Flaherty).
