KCH had ten athletes taking part in Day 1 of the national juveniles in Tullamore today. There were some very satisfactory results with four medals won and four athletes posting personal best performances. Top spot goes to Pia Langton with gold in the 800m clocking 2.10.82.

U13 Conor Knox 3rd Shot 12.84PB, 7th in long jump 4.30; Daniel Greene 5th 600m (1.39.74), 6th 6om hurdles (10.22).
Under 14 Jack O’Neill 2nd Hammer with a PB 29.67; Landon Ryan 6th Hammer PB 25.10; Fiach Crowley 6th 75m hurdles heat 13.54.
Under 15 Sinead Cormack 5th 800m heat 2.24.17.
Under 17 Clodagh O’Callaghan 6th 800m heat 2.25.22.
Under 18 Pia Langton 1st 800m 2.10.82.
Under 19 Alex Cullen 2nd 110m hurdles PB 15.28.
