Ten KCH athletes contested this year’s B Nationals – 2U12, 6U13 and 2U14. All had good performances and while no medals were won an amount of experience was gained which will stand to all in the years ahead. U12 – Marcus Lyons 9th in 60m, Evan Cody 11th in 60m; U13 – Lola Long 18th in Long jump, Lucy Maher 21st in long jump, Lavena Fogarty 22nd in long jump, Lauren Daly 25th in long jump, Katie Byrne 5th in 600m. Lola, Ella and Lavena also competed in the 80m: U14 – Emily Long was 5th in 80m final and Emma Roche was 3rd in her 80m heat.
