Six athletes from the club took part in the AAI Games in Morton stadium today. Alex Cullen, back from injury, had a PB with second place in the 400m (47.18). Eoin Everard, fit as ever, was second in the 1500 (3.57.23). Kate Maher had a PB of 24.22 finishing 3rd in the 200. Aisling Phelan went in the 100m (12.46), Clodagh O’Callaghan in 1500 and Kyrell Mitsny (1500 403.36).
Mia Brennan was also in action competing in the under 16 National Combined events. She placed third following a first place finish in the final event, the 800m. That combined with 4th in 80m hurdles, 3rd in high jump, 6th in Shot and 3rd in long jump brought her 2,832 points to clinch the bronze.
