Round 2 of the National League took place today spread over two venues – Carlow and Athlone. KCH were in Carlow and despite the closeness to a home venue we appear to have had difficulty getting a full squad to participate. However all is not lost as thanks to juveniles Liam Thompson, William Nugent and Alex Cullen, guests Shane Power and Jordan Knight (both St Joseph’s) and not least the club chairman, John Maye, KCH finished up second team in Carlow. This qualifies us for the National Final on 14th August.
