The weather was good and so was the competition and so were the results for many of our juveniles who made the trip to Thomastown this evening for the county “B” track and field championships. Among those winning medals were the following:-
Under 10 :- Edie Kemple 1 Turbo, 3 long jump; Joe Phelan 1 80m, 1 800m; Kenny Lowry 2 80m, 2 Turbo, 2 long jump, 3 800m; Aed Norry 3 80; Harry Healy 1 Turbo, 3 long jump. Relays 1st boys (Aidan Bruton, K Lowry, H Healy, J Phelan); 1st Girls (E Kemple, Winter Rose Molloy, Alesha Murphy, Sarah Kelly).
Under 11:- Issac Burns 1 300m, 3 80m; Charlie Norris 2 300m; Caoimhe Malone 1 walk; Ellie Costello 3 walk. Relay 1st Boys (C Norris, James Healy, Conor Lawerence Delaney, Dylan Guilfoyle).
Under 12:- Madeline Kemple 1 80m; Carina Masuka 2 80m; Hannah O’Brien 3 80m; Mealla Crowley 3 800m; Tadhg McGuinness 3 600m walk.
Under 14:- Amelia O’Brien 1 800m; Ruadhan McGuinness 1 80m, 1 800m.
