Tullamore track was a busy place this weekend for the holding of the Leinster Juvenile track and field. KCH had large numbers entered and there were some excellent results for those who made the trip. In all our athletes qualified for 40 individual events at national winning 8 gold, 9 silver, 13 bronze and ten 4th place finishes and many more acquiring PBs. Among the many superb results there were two which stand out – Under 15 Daniel Greene (Gold in 300, 800 and 1500) and under 18 Kate Maher (gold in 200 – PB 24.87, silver in 400 and qualification standard for European U18 championships in Reiti, Italy 16th -19th July – 55.41 ).
