The weather was unkind at times for the Leinster Juveniles in Tullamore this weekend. But the results across the ages and events suggest that the weather didn’t affect performances. Two championship records were achieved – Daniel Greene in U14 300m (42.56) and Mattias Quaglia U17 200m (22.22). In addition to many many PBs there were 39 individual medals – 19 gold, 11 silver and 9 bronze.

Top accolade goes to Daniel Greene who in addition to the Championship Record in the 300 also won gold in 800 and 1500. There were double golds for U15 Jack O’Neill (Hammer and Discus), U15 Ella Sorohan (100 and 200), U17 Mattias Quaglia (100m and 200m), U17 Aisling Phelan (100m and 200m) and U19 Tom Murphy (1500m and 3000m steeplechase).
