National competition in Tullamore today combining national pairs -aka national childrens games- and u12s & u13s.
Our under 9 boys stole the show when Jason Cleere and Cian McIntyre combined to win gold in the long jump pairs. They followed that with bronze in the 4×100 relay. Henry Trayer and Dara Walsh completed the relay team.
In u10 Aed Norry and Harry Healy were long jump pair. The girls relay team were 7th. Panel – Jane Byrne, Winter Rose Molloy, Isabella Hoyne, Asha Murphy, Sarah Kelly.
In u11s Charlie Norris and Daniel Quinn (24th & 27th) were a Turbo Javelin pair. The Boys relay team were 7th. Daniel McIntyre, James Healy and Conor Lawerence Delaney completed the panel.
Bella Quaglia won bronze in the u12 shot where Teagin Mtinsi also came close finishing in 4th place. In the relay finals the boys (Caelan Bambrick, Cathal Comerford, Eoin Hoyne, Johnny Carroll and Tom Hardiman) were 4th. The girls relay (Ella O’Flaherty, Julia Daly, Ellen Ryan, Bella Quaglia and Casey Cleere) were 9th.
