Tymon Park, Tallaght was the venue for this years schools cc national finals. KCG athletes were there in numbers representing different schools. Representing Loreto were Amelia O’Brien 60 (minor girls), Isabelle Burke 20, Aoife Fitzgerald 71, Ruth Cody 66 and Hazel Coogan 46 (Senior Girls).
~Representing the Presentation were Junior girls – Sinead Cormack 14, Ellen Cormack 47 and Kate Canavan 81 – helping the team to 4th place. Intermediate girls – Clodagh O’Callaghan 22 and Eimear Cormack 66 – helpng their team to 1st place.
The CBS has Robert Coogan 7th and Paul Millea 31 in junior boys. Robert’s older brother Billy placed 4th in the senior race where he had Paddy Kelly 52 and Matthew McCarthy 59 helping the team to 5th place. Also in the senior race were Ruairi McEvoy 12th, St Kierans and Myles Hewlett 7th, Yeats College, Waterford.
