The bright weather on this years’ St Patrick’s Day attracted big numbers to Portlaoise for the annual 5k Streets of Portlaoise. Among them were a number of KCH athletes. Foremost among them was Eoin Everard who completed the course in 15 minutes and took third place. Jamie Gahan in 15.13 was first O/40. Geraldine Grogan was first O/50. Mike O’Shaughnessy was third O/55 with Michael Grogan fourth O/55. Also fourth O/55 was Bridget Rochford. Others to do the run were Andrew Smyth, Colm Smyth, Paddy Walsh, Mark O’Duffy, Trust Mtinsi, Matthew Warren and Paula Hynes.
