Another busy and successful weekend for our athletes at the national juvenile indoors in TUS, Athlone. While there were many outstanding results pride of place goes to under 14 athlete, Conor Knox. Conor won the long jump and placed fourth in both high jump and shot. Also winning gold was Jasmine Timmons McEneaney in the 60m sprint. And then there was Aisling Phelan with silver in 60m and 200m. Kate Maher was also in the medals with bronze in the 200m. There were other fourth place finishes for Isabella Quaglia in shot, Fiach Crowley in long jump and Eoghan O’Farrell in 200m. And there were numerous PBs across all ages and events. Well done all and big thanks to parents and coaches for continued support for our athletes.

Under 14 – Sam Woodcock 800m (2.26.00); Conor Knox 1 long jump (4.84), 4 high jump (1.45), 4 shot.

Under 15 – Mollierose Keegan 5 60m (8.12); Jasmine Timmons McEneaney 1 60m (7.89); Fiach Crowley 4 long jump (5.22), 60m hurdles (10.00).

Under 16 – Patrick Wall 60m hurdles (12.76); Eoghan O’Farrell 4 200 (25.48), 9 60m (7.65); Ellen Daly 5 200m (25.86); Aisling Phelan 2 200m (25.48), 2 60m (7.76); Danny Dirreen 10 60m hurdles (9.85); Sinead Cormack 6 1500m (4.47.57); Kara Kanavan 13 800m (2.27.33). 

Under17 – Kyrell Mtinsi 400 (55.13), 6 800m (2.02.19); Conor Malone 8 high jump (1.60); Kate Maher 3 200m (25.33).

Under 18 – Conor Ryan 800m(2.09.97); Clodagh O’Callaghan 800 (2.28.07); Cormac Holden 800m (2.09.56).
