Some great performances by great individuals in different places. Billy Coogan took first place in the 3000m steeplechase at the MAAC in NewJersey. His time was 9.2.54.
Ger Forde was in the Phoenix Park for the National 5K Road race. Running close to his PB he clocked 14.58 to finish 9th.
Shay McEvoy, fresh from his 3rd place in the 10000m, he took second in the 5000 at the American Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina. His time was 14.13.05.
Meanwhile Grace Richardson ran a fine 5000m at the Princeton Invitational to take first place in 16.11.62.
In Tullamore the Irish Under 20 4x400m relay team achieved the qualifying time for the European Championships with Alex Cullen part of the team. Further congratulations to Alex on achieving Student of the Year Award in the CBS.
