There were some excellent results by the boys and girls u8,9,10 and 11. Then came the hurdles where KCH were dominant. Later we had the 1500s where again our older juveniles were superb. Included among many excellent performances were a number of “clean sweeps” – Under 11 300m with Patrick Lacey, Paul Millea  and Tiernan O’Brien 1st, 2nd and 3rd respectively in the u11 300m – likewise Tom Lodge, Robbie Cord and Eoin Deely in under 16 1500m – and Alex Cullen, Danny ring and William Nugent in the 75m hurdles under 14- . A very active athlete tonight was Louisa Gilmore – competed in 1500m, hurdles, Discus and Triple Jump – a multieventer in the making.  Our adults were also out in force and Mossy Roantree gave a great display in the men’s 3000m. Picking his time to move towards the front he had sufficient in his tank to pass early leaders James Kelly, Castlecomer and Niall Sheahen, Gowran in the home straight.
