Our athletes performed well at the Leinster Junior, Senior and Masters in Carlow this weekend. We had five Juniors in action. Billy Coogan won gold in the 3000m steeplechase. His time was 9.13.77. Alex Cullen had double bronze – 400m (52.20) and long jump (6.28). Noah Gilmore was busy, competing in four events – Gold in Discus (24.53), Silver in Long Jump (6.29), Bronze in High Jump (1.70) and 4th in 400m (52.84). Blaithin Holden had a PB in 400 (60.64) while Alexia Albertin Molenera ran the 1500m (5.09.08). Jack Manning competed at senior level and won gold in 400m (49.29) and silver in 100m (10.93 PB).
