Our younger athletes turned out in good numbers for the even age B Counties Cross Country in Graiguenamanagh today. There were individual medals at U14 level with Amelia O’Brien winning gold and Daire O’Flaherty taking silver. The boys and girls teams under 10 and under 12 all won medals – Boys U12 gold and the other three got silver.
Girls under 10 -team silver – Scorers – 4 Robbyn Lyons, 5 Isabelle Hoyne, 15 Cara Burke, with support from Summer Molloy and Heidi Guilfoyle.
Boys under 10 – team silver – Scorers – 3 Jonah Cleere, 4 Joe Phelan, 8 Darragh Walsh, with support from Harry Trayer, Ethan Maher, Adam Walsh, Conor Kelly, Patrick Collins, Nicky George.
Girls under 12 – Team silver – 4 Nancy Lyons Teehan, 8 Mealla Crowley, 12 Grace O’Shea, with support runners Ava Walsh, Molly Reynolds, Lily Power.
Boys under 12 – Team gold – 3 Dylan Guilfoyle, 5 Brandon Maher, 9 Jake Delaney and support runners Charlie Donohue, Cathal Comerford, Liam Connery, Danny Trayer, Finn Van Vaoklogoed, Tom O’Neill.
