The Even Ages County Kilkenny Cross Country Championships were held today in Ballycurran. KCH had good numbers in action and consequently good results followed. Betty Carroll got the medals rolling with gold in the girls U8 but it was in the team results that KCH impressed. Three sets of medals were won by the under 10s – gold and silver by the girls and bronze by the boys. The under 12s were equally if not more impressive – gold and silver for the boys and silver for the girls. The under 14s with fewer athletes ad boys gold and girls silver. The under 16 girls had 1,2 and 3 – Sinead Cormack, Amelia O’Brien and Katie Byrne respectively.
