To kickstart the cross country season the club had minor representation in two open cc events this weekend. At the Newbridge open on Saturday Daniel Greene took gold in the under 14 race while the younger Sam Greene had a good workout in the under 10 race.
On Sunday the action was in the Moyne open where Daniel Quinn, with club mates Donagh and Finn had a good workout in the under 11 race. Daniel excelled to take the silver. Later in the day Amelia O’Brien had a fine performance to take the title in girls under 15.
