The Irish relay squads were in Gabarone, Botswana, competing against the world's best with a view to getting qualification for the World Relay championships. Our own Molly Daly was on the panel and running the third leg of the 4x400 on Saturday the team placed 4th bringing them into Sunday's repechage where they duly gained qualification. Wearing the Irish singlet in senior competition Molly made it the third generation of her family to represent Ireland in international athletic competition. Seven KCH members took part in The Irish Milers Club event today and all seven returned with PBs and one Pia Langton also gained the U20 world standard for the 800 finishing 2nd in 2.05.87. Other 800 results were Cathal O'Reilly 1st in 1.50.19, Hannah Kehoe 2.10.41 and Clodagh O'Callaghan 2.12.40. There were PBs in the 4oo with Patrick Wall 51.73, Cathal Rossiter 54.63 and Kate Maher 56.12.
