Day 2 of the county track & field championships, in matters of weather and results, proved another day in the sun for our athletes. The weather was good – the results even better. From our under 8s, Jasmine Timmons McEneaney and Michael Ormond both of whom had double silver, to our Ladies O/30 and the many athletes in between the club had a great day. As on Day 1 there were a number of double gold including Mathias Quaglia, Louis Raggett, Harry Boyle and Amelie Foley. But the outstanding athlete on the day was under 17 competitor, Jennifer Leahy, who came away with four individual gold medals. Our Relay squads were also in excellent form winning Under 10, 12 and 14 in both boys and girls relay races.
