This evening’s Cork City Sports proved a memorable one for Cliodhna Manning. Plagued with injuries at various times in her career to date she now seems to have put those bebind her and getting under 53 seconds (2nd 52.76) will be a great boost to her further development. James Ledingham was 7th in the 3000 in 8.40.33. It was a good night also for Eamonn O’Connor. Eamonn was in the same race as James and finished 19th but his time of 8.58.12 is a big improvement on time achieved earlier this year.
