Another successful day out for our young athletes at the Leinster Juvenile B Cross Country in Stradbally, Co Laois today.
A day to remember for our U11 boys who won first club and had all four team members scoring on the county team which placed third – two Leinster medals in the one day. Team members were 8 Charlie Norris, 13 Cillian Maher, 17 Dylan Guilfoyle and 29 Conor Lawerence Delaney. The under 11 girls also ran well to place fourth with the first three on the team winning silver with the county team The team was 16 Nancy Lyons Teehan, 23 Molly Jean Clarke, 37 Aoibhin Behan, 49 Maya Balcer, 50 Caoimhe Malone, 53 Lily Erlinghauser, 58 Paige Heary. Under 13 there was 5th place for Daire O’Flaherty and 34 for Harry Greene. Well done all.
The mixed relays also produced excellent results with the under 13 producing 1st and 12th teams. First team members Amelia O’Brien, Katie Byrne, Daire O’Flaherty, Daniel Greene and sub Ella Trayer. 12th team – Emma Millea, Ellie O’Shea, Evan Cody, Donnacha Burns. The Under 11 team placed 5th – Ella O’Flaherty, Hannah O’Brien, Daniel McIntyre and Cathal Comerford.
