Three of our US based athletes were in action over the weekend. Maebh Richardson (Portland) competed in the 5000m at the Stanford Invitational, California, finishing in 16.10.06. Shay McEvoy (Tulsa) had a PB in the 10000m at the same venue. His PB time was 28.22.95.
Peter Lynch travelled form his base in North Carolina to compete in the Cherry Blossom 10 mile in Washington. Running at a fine pace throughout he finished in 45.59 leaving a number of more fancied athletes in his wake. Not only was this a massive PB for Peter it is also a national record previously held by Olympian, John Treacy.
What an achievement!!
