The weather behaved for the participants in the annual St Senan’s Open track and field leading to an enjoyable day of athletics. Among the KCH contingent there were a number of excellent results. Ranking high on the list was Conor Knox with first place in U14 shot, U15 long jump, 2nd U14 100m and also gold with the relay team.

U8 – Charlie Walsh 2/200.
U10 – Cian McIntyre 3/300, Henry Trayer 4/100, Amenze Victor 3/100.
U11 – Winter Rose Molloy 3/300, Also competing Isabelle, Edie and Neal. John Phelan on winning U12 Relay team.
U12 – Daniel McIntyre 4/shot, 3 (U13)high jump, 1/U12 relay; Cillian Maher 2(U13) walk, 5/700, shot; Rian Bergin 4/700; Also competing were Isaac Burns and Robbie Chandley.
U13 – Kate Kelly 1/700; Eoin Hoyne 4/100; Madeline Kemple competed in 100m and was joint 5th in high jump with Aisling Donohoe.
U14 – Conor Knox 2/100, 1/shot, 1(U15) long jump; Marcus Lyons 3/100; Conor, Marcus and Cian O’Sullivan on winning relay team.
U15 – Ella Trayer 2/100; Marcus Lyons 1/javelin, Amelia O’Brien 2/700, Katie Byrne 3/700.
U17 – Charlie Lyons 1/100.
Junior – Charlie Lyons 3/400, 3/high jump.
