Shay McEvoy, taking a break form his cross-country runs, took the Leinster Junior 3000m Indoor title in Abbotstown today. And he took it in style with a new CBP of 8.24.94. Major congratulations. Joya Burns competing in the Masters O40 won gold in the 60m hurdles, bronze in weight for Distance and placed 4th in the Long Jump. Kate Millea was also competing in the O40s and scored two silver – 60m hurdles and 1500m. She also had 4th in the 800m. Orla McPhillips placed 11th in the senior 800m. Well done all.
