The Phoenix Park was the venue for this years national Biofreeze Irish Runner 10 Mile.
Ger Forde, competitive throughout, ramped home in 51.11 to take second place. Our ladies were also very much in evidence with Meghan McCarthy PB of 1.03.45, Anita Byrne 3rd O/45 1.11.30 and Claire Dermody 1.12.34. The team were fourth in the senior event. Also Meghan and Anita together with Roseanna Knox 1.13.14 were fourth team O/35. Other finishers were Lisa Collins 1.15.45, Leanne Butler 1.21.49 and a fine run by Jackie Varley in 1.38.33.

Padraig Ruane did the Ballinameela 5K in 16.38 and Paudie McCarthy took part in the Bob Burke 4 mile in Fermoy and finished in 23.52.
