It was a busy weekend for our U14-19 juveniles with the national finals in Tullamore. The weather was very much a spoil sport on Saturday with torrential rain. Over the two days our athletes won two gold, one silver, three bronze and there were five fourth place finishes and many personal bests.

Results:- Under 14- Sinead Cormack 4/1500 (4.53.17), Ellen Daly 2/200 (27.26). Under 15- Kate Maher 3/100 (12.27), 3/200 (26.30), Martha Bergin 5th in 200m heat in 28.14. Under 16- Molly Daly 1/200 (25.31). Under 17- Grace Delahunty 6th in 200 heat 27.61, Cillian Daly 5th in 400m heat 55.78, Ella Wall 4/high jump (1.45) and 14th in long jump (4.29). Under 18- Blaithin Holden 5/400 hurdles, Adam Slawinski 3/100(11.32), 4/200 (23.18), Ruairi McEvoy 10/3000 (9.28.40), Alex Cullen 1/400 hurdles (55.68), 5/400 (51.57), William Nugent 6th in 200m heat (25.24). Under 19- Isabella Burke 4/3000 (11.00.58), Myles Hewlett 4/1500 (4.08.03).
