We had four athletes (three senior & one Master) competing at the Leinsters in Carlow IT this weekend. Of the seniors Jack Manning was the busiest competing in 100m and 400m. In the 100m he qualified out of the heats with 11.09 to finish fourth in the final in 10.92. In the 400m he had an excellent run to win gold in 49.10. Rory McGabhann, getting back in form from injury, took the bronze with 1.80 clearance. Eamon O’Connor placed 13th in the 1500m in 4.29.76. Karen Nugent competed in Masters Javelin where shewon bronze with a throw of 17.32.
Two athletes took partin the Moyne AC Open track and field. Ross Daly won the 100 and 200 with 11.35 and 22.80 respectively. Dylan McLaughlin finsihed fourth in the 3000m in 9.53,11. Well done all.
