It was a very successful weekend for our athletes who were competing on foreign shores.
Cathal O’Reilly took part in the British Milers Club race in Bermingham. Running the 5000m he finsihed 3rd in an d excellent PB time of 14.04.04.
Cliodhna Manning ran the 400m in Belgium where she took first place – again an excellent time of 52.88.
Keeping the good wine until last it was Molly Daly who crowned the weekend. Competing in the 200m at the EYOF in Wetzlar, Germany she was first across the finish line. Her time of 23.67 not only marks her win but also brings qualification for the European Juniors.
