Day 1 & 2 of the national juveniles took place in Tullamore this weekend with plenty of action and plenty of rain. There were good results across all the ages for KCH. 

In the U14s Daniel Greene won bronze in the 800 (2.13.26). Conor Knox was busy finishing with 3rd in Discus (31.90), 4th in long jump (4.82) and 6th in high jump (1.40).

The U15s were the most involved with six athletes competing. Jasmine Timmons McEneaney6th in 100m(12.96); Mia Brenna 4th in long jump (5.07) and 9th in 100 (13.18); Kelly Charters 4-80m hurdles (12.73) and 8th in high jump(1.45); Jack O’Neill 4- Hammer (29.96)and 8- Discus (25.85); Landon Ryan 6-Hammer (29.78) and 11- Discus (17.46)

Under 16 saw Ellen Daly put in a superb performance to win silver in the 100 (12.68).Aisling Phelan was not far behind – 4th in 12.70.  Eoghan O’Farrell was 9th in 100 (12.03).

U17s – Mattias Quaglia won his 100m heat but had an unfortunate injury in the final to finish 8th in 16.22. Kyrell Mtinsi 8th in 800 (2.07.46). 

U18s – Conor Ryan and Cormac Holden ran the 800m with respective finish times of 2.10.72 and 2.14.20.

U19s – Tom Murphy continues to medal in the steeplechase. This time he won silver in 3000m steeplechase in 10.34.48. Ella Wall 3rd in high jump (1.45) and 6th in 400m (1.01.91); Grace Delahunty 8th in 100m (13.14) and Cillian Daly 7th in 400 (55.42).
